About this place
Wasit Nature Reserve turned an old dumping ground into a thriving wetland of lagoons, salt flats and reeds. Its visitor centre has glass-walled, air-conditioned hides where you can watch flamingos, herons and dozens of other birds up close, plus a café overlooking the water.

أكثر من 120 نوعاً من الطيور في وسط المدينة، تشاهدها من ممرات داخلية باردة. التذكرة 15 درهماً، ومناسب جداً للأطفال والمصورين.
حوّلت محمية واسط الطبيعية مكب نفايات قديماً إلى أرض رطبة مزدهرة من البحيرات والسبخات والقصب. ويضم مركز الزوار ممرات مشاهدة زجاجية مكيّفة ترى منها طيور الفلامنغو ومالك الحزين وعشرات الطيور الأخرى عن قرب، إلى جانب مقهى يطل على الماء.
