About this place
Designed by Jean Nouvel and opened in 2017, Louvre Abu Dhabi tells the story of humanity through art, from ancient objects to modern works, arranged by age rather than by country. Its vast latticed dome lets light fall through like rain onto white galleries surrounded by the sea.
