About this place
Housed in a former souq on the Sharjah Creek waterfront, this museum displays around 5,000 objects from across the Islamic world: early Qurans, ceramics, metalwork, textiles and weapons. A gallery on Islamic science covers astronomy and mathematics, and the dome's ceiling mosaic of the zodiac is worth looking up for.
